Published July 6, 2011 @ 10:10 p.m.

We have two new Chamber members to welcome this week: Lubbock Area Foundation/ Post-Garza County Endowment and Tom Butler Memorial Bronc Ride.  These are two great organizations that we look forward to having as part of our Chamber.

The Rotary Club will have its annual flea and tick dip this Saturday at the firehouse from 9 a.m. – noon.  Dr. Wink from the Garza County Animal Hospital will also be available to offer reduced rates on all shots.

The Cactus & Crude Bike Ride benefiting multiple sclerosis will be ending up in Post again this year.  This 150 mile race starts in Midland and takes two days to get to Post.  Come to the City Park the morning of Sunday, July 17, to cheer for the participants as they cross the finish line.

We will be placing a brick order for Memorial Plaza on July 22.  If you need an order form, you can download one at postcitytexas.com or contact the PACC office.  All orders need to be turned in by July 21.

The city if offering curbside pickup the second full week of July.  Items should be placed by the curb the week of July 11 by 9:00 a.m.

The Post Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Bingo Night on August 4.  Make plans to come for an evening of fun and prizes.

The Post Stampede Rodeo will be here before you know it.  The annual parade will be on Saturday, August 13.  Call the Chamber office if you would like to enter.
