Audree Williams Leads Post UIL Academic Team
Lopes Advance to Regional Meet

The Garza Post congratulates the Post High School District UIL Academic students who recently competed at Denver City.
The students who placed at the meet were Isaac Stern, 4th place in Persuasive Speaking; Audree Williams, 1st Place in Literary Criticism, 1st Place in Social Studies and 2nd Place in Computer Applications; Sara Greer, 6th Place in Prose Interpretation; Katie Dunn, 3rd Place in News Writing; Kari Dunn, 3rd Place in Features Writing; Taylor Osborn, 2nd Place in Headlines Writing; Haily Berry, 3rd Place in Current Issues and Events; Steven Howard, 2nd Place in Persuasive Speaking; and Zach Hinkle, 2nd Place in Accounting.
The other Post participants at Denver City were Kayla Comeaux, Katie Dunn, Morgan Deen Staggs, Maritza Alaniz
Jaime Marquez, Alexis Ramirez, Dalton Holly, Kelsey Griffin, Dakota McDonald, Carson Kirkpatrick, Campbell Kirkpatrick, Israel Gonzales, Jordan Barboza, Kelsey Isbell, Shirley Araiza and Kambry Mason.
The students that placed first through fourth will compete in the Regional UIL Academic Meet at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas on Saturday, April 21.
