"We hosted the Administrative Professionals Day lunch last year and served approximately 50 people,"  said Millie Sentell, President of the Caprock Cultural Association.  "The Heritage House provides a nice, relaxing atmosphere.  We make sure you have a nice lunch and can still be back to work by 1:00."

Cost of the meal is $15.50 per person and reservations are required.  Visa and Mastercard accepted as well as company checks and cash.  Reservations must be received by Noon, Monday, April 23.  Call 495-4148 or email ccarts@poka.com for more information or to make your reservations.

Administrative Professionals Day is always observed on the Wednesday of Administrative Professionals Week the last full week of April. This year marks the holiday's 60th anniversary.  It began in 1952 as National Secretaries Week.  The name of the holiday was changed to reflect the changing job titles and expanding responsibilities of the administrative workforce.

The day recognizes and celebrates the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, and other office professionals for their contributions to the workplace.
