Services for Bil Hedrick, 83, of Post will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Post with the Rev. Ricky Carstensen of Lockney and Rev. Scott Richards of Post officiating.  Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home.

She was born June 27, 1928 in Post to L. P. and Ruby (Thomas) Kennedy Jr. Bil died on April 7, 2012 at her home in Post.  She married J. L. Hedrick in 1961 in Hale Center.  He preceded her in death on April 7, 1975.  She was an original member of the Girls Rodeo Association which later became the WPRA.  She attended Texas Tech where she was on the rodeo team and was the first queen of the Texas Tech Rodeo in 1946.  Her passion for many years was teaching kids correct horsemanship.

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Natha Jo Arnold and husband Bob of Post, 1 Son: John Bill Hedrick of Post, 2 Sisters: Betty Young of Leander and Anita Payne of San Angelo and 1 Grandson: Shawn Henderson of Kerrville.
