Mary Hudspeth, 57, of Coloardo City and formerly of Odessa, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Mitchell County Hospital.

Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Terrace Cemetery in Post.   The Rev. Scott Richards, First United Methodist Church of Post will officiate.  Arrangements are under the personal care of Dee and Janet Justice, Justice-Mason Funeral Home.

Mary was born July 31, 1954 to Hugh L. and Goldie Marie (Dawes) Tuck at Big Spring, Texas.  They moved to Odessa where she attended school and graduated from Permain High School.  She married Eddie Gann and he preceded her in death.  She married Roy Hudspeth and he preceded her in death October 31, 1998. 

Mary loved to help others in need.  Fishing and playing pool were her favorite activities.  After becoming disabled her daughter Julie became her care giver and in January, 2012 they moved to Colorado City to live. Her daughter and grandchildren were her life.  She was a member of the Sherwood Baptist Church of Odessa.  Where she had been a member since November 26, 2000.

She is survived by: one daughter, Julie Long  and her fiancé Lance Cole of Colorado City;  three grandchildren, Savana Long, Johnathan Long and Anthony Long; one brother, Bobby Tuck and his wife Connie of Kermit; five sisters, Nancy Wood, Susan Hankins and her husband Dwight, Stacey John, Lynn Caver and her husband Joe and Kathy Paz and her husband Sammy, all of Odessa.  Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Her special friends were: Rayetta, Melissa and Terry.
