4-H Power Camp

Garza County 4-H members recently attended (July 25-29) Power Camp in Cloudcroft, NM. The camp was sponsored by area businesses including Xcel Energy, Citizens Bank of Post and ABC Banks. Power Camp challenges youth through leadership initiatives, ropes courses, pamper pole, zip lines competitive games and dances. Participants also visited with representatives from TTU Agriculture Department and Xcel about college degrees and career paths. Attending were Nathaniel Gill, Dakota McDonald, Audree Williams, Julie Boren and County Agent Nancy McDonald.
