The Post Area Chamber of Commerce will host Career Day Friday, March 23. The event was designed by the Post Area Chamber of Commerce four years ago as a response to the demand of area businesses needing full-time, part-time and seasonal employees. There will also be employers available to talk about career opportunities in various fields.
The career day will be held from 2 -5 p.m., March 23 at the Post ISD Cafeteria. The change in location is an effort to draw more high school students to the event who are looking for part-time employment or interested in learning about various careers. As in the past, all job seekers are welcome.
The Post Area Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting registration from area employers wishing to highlight their employment or career opportunities. Employers from Post and surrounding communities are encouraged to participate. Registration for Post Area COC Members is free-of-charge. Non-members will pay a nominal $25 registration fee. The event is free to all job seekers and those wishing to be recruited to a better job.
Each registered employer will receive booth space, an exhibit table and refreshments will be served.
To register as an employer, contact the Post Area Chamber of Commerce at 495-3461.
