PACC News for the Week of May 29

News from the Post Area Chamber of Commerce

Published May 30, 2012 @ 9:04 p.m.

This Saturday is Post City Trade Day from 9-5.  The Brick Street Project is coming along so come to town and support our local merchants and the outside vendors.  This weekend you can also catch “Pentecost” at Ragtown Gospel Theater.  Shows are Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m.  Don’t forget to check out the movie at The Tower Theater.

The Community Recovery Center has graciously offered to host our quarterly Chamber Members Meeting on June 7 at noon.    We always have a good time at CRC and the food is always great.  Please make plans to come to this luncheon and network with other Chamber Members.  You won’t be disappointed!

On June 8 from 5-8 you can get a great catfish dinner at Trailblazers for just $7 per plate.  This is a fundraiser for our Senior Citizen’s Center.

Summer is quickly approaching and it will be a busy time.  The next Chamber Community Bingo Night is scheduled for August 2.  The Post Stampede Rodeo Parade will be on Saturday, August 11.  Of course Post City Trade will be monthly on July 7 and August 4.  We will wrap up the summer with the Rotary’s annual Smokin’ in the Park Barbeque Cook-off on August 24 & 25.

Check out the Calendar of Events at www.postcitytexas.com for other events and contact the office if you have events you would like to have added to the calendar.

Congratulations to our Members of the Week:
