Lupe Perez, 58, of Amarillo was granted his angel wings on November 15, 2012. His final days were surrounded by family as he took his final breath at Kindred Hospital in Amarillo.

Services will be at 1 PM Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Hudman Funeral Home Chapel in Post. Burial will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home of Post.

He was born to Paul and Janie Perez on October 21, 1954 in Slaton, Texas. Lupe graduated from Post High School in 1972 and lived in Post for many years. He lived his final years in Amarillo. He enjoyed time with his family and most of all enjoyed his Grandchildren. He loved to play softball in his younger years. He spent his final years enjoying fishing and had a passion for playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Janie Perez, two brothers Freddie and Junior Perez and one sister Christina Perez.

Survivors include one son Davin and wife Rose Perez of Amarillo, three daughters: Amanda Perez of Lubbock, Kimberly and husband Josh Rivero of Amarillo and Tamara and husband Alex Juarez of Amarillo, seven grandchildren Zaydriane Willis, Aubri Perez, Teodoro Rivero, Aiven Rivero, Alexandria Juarez and Jonathan Juarez all of Amarillo,four sisters Josie and husband Juan Quintana of Post, Margie and husband Juan Atilano of Las Vegas, Nev., Louisa and husband Tony Scalone of Lubbock and Gloria Jean Hayes of Houston, four brothers Joe and wife Irene Perez of Post, Jerry and wife Rita Perez of San Antonio, Juan Perez of Post and David and wife Loy Perez of Amarillo and a number of nieces and nephews.
