The Community Recovery Center requests that individuals/organizations who are nominated meet the following criteria: be a local individual, city or county, or organization that is instrumental in assisting people and organizations in Post or Garza County in improving their quality of life either directly through provided services or through support for the community agencies and organizations that provides those services. The selection committee requests that persons interested in submitting appropriate candidates include the name of the person, persons or organizations they are submitting for consideration along with a brief description of reasons why the submission is an appropriate candidate. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2012. The Community Recovery Center will present the award to the most eligible candidate at the annual fall fundraiser, The Recovery Roundup.
This year’s Recovery Roundup Fall Fundraiser, hosted by the Community Recovery Center, will be held on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 6:30pm and the Center is asking that those interested in attending to save the date. The Recovery Roundup features a steak dinner, catered by PJ’s Catering from The Heart, presentation of the Giles C.
