There is still time to register for the Grant Writing workshop at the Heritage House in Post, April 17. Anyone who works for or holds a position of leadership for a non-profit is encouraged to attend to learn how to find appropriate grants and how to write a successful grant proposal. The workshop is sponsored by the Texas Leadership Institute, a program of the Texas Center for Rural Entrepreneurship and hosted by the Caprock Cultural Association.
According to the course description on the TLI web site: “Successful grant writing is accomplished by establishing identity and credibility; developing the project; prioritizing potential funders and creating a proposal that tells your story. Participants in this workshop will learn what it takes to accomplish each of these. You will experience an in-class writing exercise and take home the tools you need to write an outstanding grant proposal including a winning proposal checklist.’”
