The Silent Night Village project, at the location of the former Algerita Park, is through with dirt work as concrete slabs were poured the week of July 16, 2012. The East Main Street shopping sub-division will be a year round facility for vendors with various types of merchandise, a storage home for a trackless train and a place for events including special activities during the Christmas season.

The Post Fire Department was the scene of the 2012 Rotary Club Dog Dip and Garza County Animal Hospital vaccination clinic on July 14.

The Post Volleyball Camp 2012 was hosted by Coach Charlyn Hohman as 18 junior high and elementary athletes participated July 16-18 at Antelope Arena. Coach was assisted by a few high school players.
