DENVER CITY - Senior Dale Diaz pitched his way to a win in the Antelope's first District 3-2A game of the 2012 season.  The Lopes doubled the runs produced by the home Denver City team winning 12-6.  Diaz, now undefeated in two games, was relieved in the seventh inning.

At the plate, seven Post players got hits in the game against the Mustangs lead by Campbell Kirkpatrick's three hits and Vance Blair crossing the plate three times.

Starting off Tuesday evening, the junior varsity Lopes set the pace by defeating D-City 10-7 behind the pitching of Carson Kirkpatrick.

Both teams play next on Saturday home against Colorado City.  The varsity game will be first starting at 12 noon.
