The Post 8th grade football Antelopes were looking for a district win against the Floydada Whirlwinds Thursday at home.  The Lopes struggled on offense with AJ Escobedo running 14 times for only 73 yards with a touchdown and he passed for a touchdown to Kade Smith in the loss, 38-12.  On defense Escobedo got four tackles and Russ Morris three.  Post will go to Olton on 11/1/12 looking to get back on track with a win.

The 7th grade Post Middle School defeated the Floydada Whirlwinds 30 to 0.  Mike Phergson ran eleven times for 150 yards with 3 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion.  Damian Garcia carried twice for 43 yards in the win.  On defense both the Britton boys and Mike Phergson recorded four tackles.  The Lopes received two turnovers one being an interception by Aric Garza and one forced fumble by Chance Courtney.  Next week they will play in Olton looking for another district win.

The “fun bunch” (combined B-team) played a rematch against Slaton on October 25.  The offense did not score losing 13 to 0.  Hunter Graves ran five times for 65 yards and Kobe Ammons was good in passing completing 2 of 4 with one interception.  On defense Kobe Ammons wrapped up four tackles. The “fun bunch” will travel to Plains this Thursday trying to get another win.
