Garza County Early Voting Results

Election day polls are now closed in Garza County and the vote counting process is under way.  In the mean time, results from the two weeks of early voting have been released.

Local Game Warden Honored with Life Saving Award

Drew Spencer was recently awarded with a Director's Life Saving Award by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  Spencer is the Texas Game Warden for Garza and Lynn Counties.  The award was given for apprehending an armed man suspected of suicidal tendencies, and it was presented on August 23rd.
